One default job of being a DJ is when one of your parents reach a milestone, you get elected to be the DJ (and in this case the party planner, slide show creator, and the glue that pulled everyone and everything together). On March 8th my three siblings and myself pulled off one of the best little surprise parties for our mother, who turned 60 on that day. Chris thought she was heading to The Brass Rail for a birthday lunch with just us... little did she know we had 29 guests awaiting her arrival, including her best childhood friend who flew up from Georgia for the party. As you can tell by the photos below, she was completely surprised! Guests enjoyed an Italian Lunch Buffet. Our "resident singer" Tim was under the weather so he had to take a pass on belting out a few tunes. I put together a ~12 minute slideshow capturing the 60 years, that you can view below. All guests were sent home with a photo from the event.
